Rodeway Inn Stephenville

Our rooms were fantastic and updated with clean towels, the bath tub. The hotel was not far from many restaurants and stores and restaurants thanks to its particularly good location.

mixed feelings about my stay

The bed was decent, giving us a good night's sleep. The TV worked well, providing us with some entertainment after a long day.

The room had visible water damage.

Good wi-fi and friendly staff, but the room was quite rundown.

Solo traveler just look elsewhere

The thing I appreciated was the fridge and microwave in the room, no need to bother the front desk for that. The hardwood floors looked good at first but good luck with spills.

It wasn't cheap, but it was okay for what I got.

Only one electrical outlet worked, and the lamps were all out. The bathroom was in dire need of remodeling, with stained sheetrock and peeling paint. There were only one washcloth and one hand towel for two people. The overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired, with dust bunnies on the floor. The promise of breakfast fell flat, as there was little available. The hotel needs major updates and better cleaning protocols.

Not Worth It

Stayed here for 1 night and honestly, it was pretty rough. The whole place felt worn down-stains everywhere and a weird smell that just wouldn't quit. The clerk was really nice though, and the location near the university was a plus. Breakfast? Yeah, don't get your hopes up. You're better off grabbing a snack from a store nearby.
